This site is a tribute to Bob aka Chippy, who was born in Hampshire on April 13, 1938.
Dad started his Army career at the young age of 15 and in 1977 after completing 25 years in various countries he retired from regular service, but continued in the TA until 1992. The Army & TA were a huge part of Dads life and in turn my Mums and mine too and it was a place where Dad, Mum & I made lifelong friends.
I am so proud of the lovely, kind, generous and caring man who was my Dad, to others he was Sgt Major, Chippy, Bob & Bobby but to me he was just Dad ❤.
Ì have chosen St Lukes Hospice for donations in Dads memory as it was a charity very close to Dads (and my) heart. It was St Lukes Hospice who took such good care of Mum when we both lost her in 2002.
Dad you were loved by so many and will always be remembered by us all, but I'm going to tuck you & Mum safely in my heart until we meet again ❤.
Lots & Lots of Love always 😘 xxxxxx
Miss you Sgt Major Sir, Christmas cards have got less and less throughout the years but you always sent to me and in return I to you and Renee, mind you, I always had to ask for your postcode lol x
Miss and love you both every day. Christmas is always that little bit harder, but I think that's because you always made them so special 💗 . You're both always tucked safely in my heart together ❤️ 💙 xxxxxx
Our Christmas donation in memory of my lovely Mum & Dad. Lots of Love Shal & Paul xxx
